Yes, you heard that right! Nocti's demo is very close to release! After 3 long years of development, I'm almost at a point where it's ready to be given to people to playtest for bugs and then thrown out into the world for people to enjoy.

I've got a few last graphics to finish, some extra cutscenes and a little bit of sound work to do before I can put down the mouse and say "I'm done" , but the work shouldn't take more than a few weeks at most.  Then I'll probalby have a week or two of testing, and everything will be good to go!

I also made the decision to cut back one of the more... ambitious features of the game. It didn't really add to the world in any meaningful way, and it's a lot of extra dialogue writing for very little gain. It also probably would have drove completionists up the wall. If I make a "behind the scenes" book or secret room or post mortum for the final game I might talk about it more there. Just know that now the biggest obstacle to finishing the game is my absolute hatred of making cutscenes in RPGMaker... lol...
